Hello, I am having the same issue and I also changed the setting for On mouse click animations without set timings display after X seconds to 0 (zero) seconds. Each of my slides have a few minutes of silence. Was the above issue resolved?

Hi Kerri,
I'm still suffuring from this issue sometimes but only for few seconds not minutes.
I don't if it comes from my audio edits or my ppt file.
I can't remember having seen an answer to my case but I can leave with that now
I just figured it out- in audio editor add one second of silence at the end of each slide- for some reason it fixes the problem.
