Presenter and audience views in Storyline or Presenter

Aug 14, 2018

Hi guys, is it possible in Storyline or Presenter to operate with a presenter view like in Powerpoint? What I mean is to have a person with the regular player in front of them with all of the menus, notes and options (such as being able to select a particular slide rather than having to click next or back), but then on a second screen which an audience views, it's just the full slide slide.

It's pretty much what Powerpoint does, but we would like to be able to create a final product that is given to a client which they can then use without having to install any Articulate software, like the Presenter tab in Powerpoint.

Hello Cormac and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)

When you publish and share your courses, the end user/learner will not need any Articulate software to be able to take the course.

I'm attaching some information for both Storyline and Presenter since you mentioned both:

Storyline 360: Publishing and Sharing Content

Presenter 360: Publishing and Sharing Content

I hope that helps you out :)

Hi Leslie, thanks for the reply. I know about the publishing options. What I'm looking for is to be able to give the client a published file which allows them to essentially have one version with a menu for their own monitor when they're presenting, and then a full screen version with no menu which goes on screen so the audience can see it. Is that possible?

Hi Cormac,

Thanks for reaching back out and sharing your idea. Sounds like you are looking for more instructor-led features vs e-learning. We do not have a "presentation mode" like Powerpoint.

Hopefully, someone in the community will be able to chime in and help you out with that need.

I know Nicole wrote a great article here about converting ILT to E-Learning if you'd like to check it out.
