Presenter Auto Advance Time

I am new to Articulate Studio (about 2 hours) and am trying to find information on how to adjust the length of auto advanced slides. In my presentation, I am going to have slides with timed animations that will ultimately synch with audio. Until then, I'd like to be able to set a default amount of time for the slide's player. For example, right now the slide takes about 5 seconds before it advances to the next one. Most of my animations are currently set at 8 seconds. How do I extend the auto advance time when navigation is set to auto?
