Is there a way to change the settings/size of the box that appears to show the bio of the person who is the presenter? The font size is too small to read.

Aside from the options listed in this article for Managing Presenters, and here for Choosing Player Features, I am not aware of a way to adjust the size of the box for the presenter bio. Perhaps you might want to consider a custom player? Please see here for additional details: Articulate Studio '13 SDK.
