Presenter doesn't recognize my 64bit Powerpoint program

Dec 01, 2011

When I try opening Presenter it says there is no powerpoint program running. Presenter is clearly 32 bit and in a (x86)file, while ppt is in the 64bit file. Help.

Welcome to Heroes, Rick!

Phil's right. Microsoft released a 32-bit and a 64-bit version of Office 2010. Microsoft recommends installing the 32-bit version. Articulate Presenter '09 will only work with the 32-bit version. Presenter '09 also will not work with the Click To Run version of PowerPoint 2010. For more information, please review the following article:

Please don't hesitate to ask any further questions. Welcome again!

Hello Peter,

I finally bit the bullet just before the holidays and converted my 64 bit MS Office Professional to 32 bit. Although it became every bit the nightmare I had anticipated, it got done, and I was finally able to begin using the Articulate software--just as my trial date expired! I was barely able to get the first test put into the program and evaluate it.

I like it in general, but have some questions that I would like to work through before sinking a grand into the purchase. Is there anyway to get my trial extended for a few more days?

One question is--in creating assessment tests I have put different values to each answer, but am required to define one answer as "Correct." When a test taker reviews his/her answers each question is shown with the "correct" answer, when there really is no correct answer. This can be unnerving to the test taker to see. How do I resolve this? (I didn't see where using the survey would accomplish what I needed, or did I miss that?)

BTW, our entire business learning model is to develop DIY home/in office products for micro businesses. The Articulate Suite would be ideal for these products. I would like to be in the beta testing group, if possible.
