Presenter hooks into QuizMaker are not working in PowerPoint 2010

Good day folks,

I'm buildilng an e-learning course in PowerPoint 2010 using AP and QM '09 (ver 6.3.1103.112 Pro), and I'm running into a little snag. I can insert a QM slide, and AP displays the Quizzes and Interactions dialog with no problems. However, after I've inserted the quiz slide, if I click the Properties or Edit in QM buttons on the placeholder slide, then nothing happens. The only way to edit an existing quiz slide from PPT is to add a new quiz, select the existing quiz, make the necessary changes, and then exit from the Quizzes and Interactions dialog, which works...but it's just frustrating.

I've tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling Articulate Studio '09, but that didn't resolve the issue. It doesn't look like any add-ins are disabled (Articulate Presenter Communicator and Ribbon are both list as enabled). Other ideas?
