Presenter HTML5 module showing wrong in safari on IPad (JoomlaLMS)

Dec 01, 2015

Hello, I've got a issue with the Ipad safari view of my HTML5 modules created in Presenter 9/13 (JoomlaLMS). The content screen is to big to fit the screen in 100%. This appears only to be a problem in Safari, Chrome works for example fine. I understand that Moodle have the same problem something with a IFrame issue. I´ve spoken to Articulate and JoomlaLMS, but none og them can´t help with issue.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

Hi Tony,

Thanks for reaching out here - and just in case others are curious, I did want to share the information that our Support engineers shared with you in regards to iFrame content:

I understand that you are encountering issues with the display of your HTML5 course in JoomlaLMS when viewed from Mobile Safari in an iPad.

When you embed a published course in an iFrame (such as in Joomla or Moodle), the iFrame takes control of the content's placement, which could have undesirable results. See this article for more information:

We also recommend that you review the tutorial below, on how to embed Articulate content in Joomla:

Please note that Articulate doesn't provide support for managing Joomla. For help with your Joomla CMS, visit: www.joomla.org

Hope you're able to find help here in the forums!

Hi Ashley, thanks for your quick answer :-).

Its correct I got the answer from you (contact JoomlaLMS), but JoomaLMS tells me to talk to Articulate about the issue, so this makes it a little difficult to solve this at the moment.

The reason I use this forum is that I hope that another person have had the same issue and perhaps have found a simple solution?

So anyone, if you have any ideas please let me know :-).

Regards
Tony
