Hello! Does anyone know why Presenter sometimes inserts extra spaces between words in a text box when publishing a presentation? And more importantly, how can the issue be corrected?
Hi Paul - I'm glad you found the answer. I'm adding some general suggestions for resolving the issue. If you used a different approach, can you share the solution here, too?
You can usually resolve the issue by adding .1 pt character spacing to the text box:
I am using Presenter 360 and it routinely destroys the text whenever I publish, and completely messes up underlined and bold text. Also, today it simply did not publish the letter I.
I'm so sorry this is plaguing you! I know that's got to be frustrating, and I'm here to help.
We haven't seen a text spacing or formatting issue in Presenter 360, so I'd be interested to take a closer look at your file. You can attach it in the thread, or click here to share it with me privately.
As for the missing "i" problem, we've seen that pop up particularly with Storyline 2 courses with HTML5 in Chrome, so I'll investigate that in your file, as well.

Sorry . . . I should have searched the forum before posting this. I see there are previous discussions which more or less answer my questions.

Spacing between text is incorrect in published version
And Dave Burton created a macro that automates the workaround mentioned above

When is Articulate going to fix this bug? It is incredibly irritating and time consuming.

Hello Jacqueline and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)
Sorry to hear that you are having difficulty with your text and publishing.
This thread is a bit dated. Can you share some additional information so that we can understand what may be going on? What text are you utilizing?
If you could share your Articulate Package, that would be helpful as well.
