"presenter is unable to open to project file" this happens whenever I go to publish, if I move the ppta file I can get to the publish dialogue but all of my publish settings are lost
If you need to attempt recovery of resources in a corrupt PPTA file, you may be able to use 7zip to extract the PPTA file and reveal its contents. Depending on the severity of the corruption, you may or may not be able to extract the PPTA file to recover resources that were stored in it. Please note that extracting PPTA files is not officially supported by Articulate.
In order to continue working with your PowerPoint presentation, you will need to delete or rename the corrupt PPTA file. After deleting or renaming the PPTA file, Articulate Presenter will generate a new PPTA file for your PowerPoint presentation the next time you click one of the options on the Articulate menu.
It just depends on what files you're trying to import back into your presentation. If you have inserted media like SWF, FLV, or MP4 files, you'll be able to extract them from the PPTA file, put them in a new location on your machine, and then re-import them as needed.
In regards to the narration folder, you can extract the WAV files & then use the ae.ini to figure out which audio file belongs to which slide.
