Presenter not appearing for editing

Hi

I have designed my first presenter project and I included one presenter who appears in the presenter panel in preview.

When I try to edit the presenter's details in presentation options she does not appear at all but the presenter panel and her details do appear in preview.  Also she is listed as a presenter in slide properties.  Why is this and what am I doing wrong?  One more thing in slide properties my presenter has 'in project' after her name.  Is this significant and what does it mean?
