Presenter package issues
Mar 30, 2011
Hello!
I am trying to work on a course that was started by someone else. He made a presenter package and I uploaded the zip file onto my computer, but when I opened up the file the interactions and quizzes are missing so I cannot work on these. Maybe we did something wrong, but is there a way to fix this? Or should I just have him give me all the interaction and quiz files separately?
Thank you!!

If you unzipped the file and the .INTR and .QUIZ files are not there then I would ask him to send them to you separately. You would likely need to reconnect them to the presentation. So if you select Edit Interaction or Edit Quiz, you should be prompted to locate the .INTR or .QUIZ file. So you would just browse for the file and that should fix things for you.
Ok, that's what I figured-thanks! The interactions and quizzes are supposed to be part of the presenter package when you make one typically, correct? (Just for future reference)
Hi Jessica,
Yes, the interactions and quizzes are usually there in the 1st generation of the package.
Hi again,
I had a new issue with the presenter packages created today. The quizzes and everything attached fine this time, but I lost all audio. Any idea why I keep losing things when I create packages or how to fix these issues?
Thanks!
I would take a look at this article:

You probably need to clean up the directory that contains your PowerPoint file. So if you have multiple versions, etc... I usually recommend that you have one folder that contains one version of one PowerPoint file, not multiple versions of the same presentation in the same folder.
Hi
I'm experiencing the same problems (with not being able to locate my engage and quizmaker items). Unsure why this happened, as I could find them previously. I followed the advice above and have managed to find them all EXCELLENT (delighted and relieved.....)!!!
Thank you so much, as I had thought I might have to create them all again and my deadline for this course is tight!
Kind regards
T.
Awesome! Glad to hear it, Tracey. And welcome to Heroes
