Presenter Player Skins - 2013

Mar 11, 2015

Hello everyone,

A co-worker of mine mentioned that past versions of Articulate Presenter had a lot more options to manipulate player skins. For example, the option to add shapes, lines, more color features and overall really move things around. I am unsure to what version they are speaking of...

Does anyone have any experience in creating a custom player skin? We are  looking to match the clients website. It seems Presenter 13' only has options to add colors and add/remove text titles.

Any suggestions and tips are greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Sarah

Hi Sarah!

The Articulate Studio '13 software development kit (SDK) is a free download that currently supports custom player frames. To learn more about the SDK, see this download page.

Please note that the Studio '13 SDK isn't a supported product. If you need help creating custom frames, we recommend posting in our dedicated SDK forum to connect with other developers.

Forgive me, if I insert this topic here but more or less this is still GUI related. MY problem is the GUI. We only have a published files and some source files, PPTA and PPTX given to us and we do not have the GUI installer. We are using Articulate Presenter 09 and Power Point 2013. Below are my specific questions.

1. Can we use the "Player" and "data" folder of the published files given to us to retain the GUI whenever we published the course.

2. Can we also use the "player" and "data" folder to make or create the .artpkg installer for the GUI?

Please refer to the link below:

Hi Sarah!

I'm not sure what version of Storyline you are utilizing, so I've shared some information for both below:

The Articulate Storyline software development kit (SDK) is a free download that currently supports custom player frames. To learn more about the SDK, see this download page.

The Articulate Storyline 2 software development kit (SDK) is a free download that currently supports custom player frames for Flash content. To learn more about the SDK, see this download page.
