Presenter/Quizmaker Radial Dial Button does not change

Jan 18, 2017

I have had a situation where the questions in the final quiz will not show which answer a user has chosen.  The radial dial does not show a mark.  This Presenter project has two Knowledge Checks (a single question Quiz) in the course with a quiz at the end of the course.  The first Knowledge Check is a Match question (drag and drop) which is the cause of the issue.

In working with Articulate Support, the work around until there is an update is to add another question (not a Match question) behind the Match question in the Knowledge Check.  By doing this, the user will now see the selection they make on the quiz as well as the second Knowledge Check.

Just wanted to add this in the discussions in case someone else is having this issue.  Thanks Articulate for all the help!

Thanks, Keith. It looks like this behavior occurred in Presenter 360 and Quizmaker 360. I can see that Karla shared the details of your issue with our QA team, and we’ll be sure to post any updates here in this discussion!  You’ll receive an email notification because you are now subscribed to this post.

For those who may encounter this in the future, the workaround was to insert a quiz question with a radio button (T/F or multiple choice) before the Sequence Drag and Drop question.

Hey Keith!

Great news - Articulate 360 Update 5 is now available! It includes a number of fixes detailed in the release notes here.

The item you may be interested in is how it fixed the issue where radio buttons and check boxes on quiz slides wouldn't always show selected states when learners chose their answers.

Launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer and click the “Update” button next to each tool.
