Presenter to HTML5 - Images Load VERY Slowly, No Audio Synch

I am publishing Presenter 2013 to HTML5.  When publishing, I check the HTML5 checkbox.  I've also tried checking the Articulate Player checkbox.  

The modules load and play just fine on the LMS on both Mac and PC.  When playing under the LMS on the iPad, the modules look great and the audio plays great BUT … each slide loads at about 1/10 the normal speed.  As an example, a slide with a 3-second play time and no audio takes about 30 seconds to finish.  As a result, there is no audio-image synching.  More importantly, the modules are unusable.

 I can't find any support on this specific problem.
