I've inserted a Presenter Video (mp4) in every slide, but when I play the presentation using Articulate Mobile Player, I can only hear but not see the videos. I'm working with Studio '13. Any suggestion?
Hi Lorenzo! Thanks for sharing your published output, I was able to witness the behavior on my Samsung tablet as well. I do know that we have an issue reported for iOS8 (which I tested with your file as well).
I would advise that you reach out to our support team here to share your file for them to take a look at so that this issue can be reported properly as well.
That's not a .story. It's a simple powerpoint with a .png in the main stage and a presenter video (.mp4, 360x288) inserted from Video Menù in Articulate tab. A behaviour easily repeatable. Maybe the video format? But I've never read of straight specifications about that...
Perhaps it's the size Lorenzo. Here are some specs:
The maximum size for presenter panel videos is 220 pixels wide by 167 pixels high. If your video is larger, Presenter will scale it to fit and maintain aspect ratio for best results. See this tutorial for more information on presenter panel videos.
If Presenter scales the video BEFORE publishing, then no matter what size it is, I think. Otherwise It would be useless the process of scaling itself. I mean, when mobile player run the presentation, the video is just been resized. Or not?
Thank you for the update Lorenzo! This is related to the issue that our QA Team is currently investigating. I have added this thread for their reference and will update here when applicable.
Just an update on this issue where Presenter Panel videos weren't displaying or playing the video within iOS8 been fixed in the latest update of Articulate Mobile Player version 4.0.

Yes, I know, but my issue here is that the video isn't visible on mobile player (even if it's playing, since I hear the voice)...

It would be best if our team could have a look at your Articulate Package. You can share here.
Why not here? In the attached package you'll find one ppt slide and the resulting presenter output.
