Print a Certificate of Completion

Feb 10, 2015

A learner receives a printed certificate when he completes a 29 slide Presenter 09 course. The learner accesses the course through an LMS. Can the LMS be programmed to print the certificate or is that something I need to do in Presenter? If so, how the heck do I do that in Presenter. Help. Thank in advance.

Hi Alan,

Articulate apps don't currently support certificates of completion. We generally see this as a function of learning management systems (LMSs). However, if you're not using an LMS, you may be able to modify the report.html file in your published output to make it look like a certificate. (The report.html file is used for the Print Results feature in Articulate Quizmaker and Articulate Storyline.) You'll need an understanding of HTML coding to use this technique. Also, be aware that Articulate doesn't provide support for this method.

Here are the directions on how to set this up - and once the certificate is created in a new browser window, it will be up to the user to select print or save, there isn't an option that will force that to happen.
