Problem getting swf files to play

Apr 20, 2020

I have not used my Articulate Presenter 9 for several years. It was always a bit shaky and I wondered if it was going to work. PP hated it and complained continually and occasionally would kick it out of PP.  When I fired it up again PP wanted nothing to do with it. I contacted Articulate and was told there is another version available. I have look for updates but did not find any so this was welcome. It appeared to work quite well but when I went to play the files nothing happened, just a blank screen. I checked on my old files and they would send the loading bar about one-third the way and hang-up. The encoded files appear not to work anymore. Help

Hi Paul!

Let's see what is causing the snag!

Which version of PowerPoint are you using with Presenter 09?

  • We currently support PowerPoint 2000, PowerPoint 2002 (PowerPoint XP), PowerPoint 2003, PowerPoint 2007 or 32 Bit PowerPoint 2010.

Next, have you tried playing the .swf files outside of the project? If they work outside of the project, I recommend trying to import them again.

Keep us updated so we can continue investigating!
