Problem loading individual Flash movies

Hi all,

I have been looking through these forums for a solution to a problem that I am having with an Articulate

project that I am working on but to no avail, so hence the post etc.

If you look at the image above, I have an interface and when you click on any of the menu items (highlighted in BLUE) in the left-hand side navigation they bring up a screen (high-lighted in RED) wheich contains a flash movie, the dimensions of which are 720x540. There are 15 flash movies (swfs) ranging from from size from 32KB (which load straight-away, so NO PROBLEM) to 5460KB which take a while to load, so I get a blank, white screen as shown above for 60 secs (or so it seems...)

I have tried putting a laoding fucntion within one of the flash movies but this hasn't seemed to have solved the problem as I still get that white screen in the middle.

I thought previously that when I published the ENTIRE articulate project that the whole thing would LOAD including the flash movies/swfs that have been inserted into it.

I know that ideally the flash movies should be kept SMALL, in terms of memory, but the bosses here want these large animations and audio files in them.

Any ideas?
