Problem with audio (maybe something else?)

Hi, we have a new problem - it appears to be random. In publishing a new project some of the slides play for significantly longer than the length of the audio track.
For example, the audio for the 5th slide is 39 second long, and plays correctly. When inserted, the slide lenght increases to 3:48, but there obviously is no sound after 39 seconds. We have the slide properties set to automatically so the slide sits there until 3:48 has passed.
The setting for slides without audio or animation is set to 3 seconds.
None of the slides have animation.
Thoughts?

Welcome to Heroes, Lisa!
Have you had a chance to look at the Audio Editor? You could remove the extraneous audio from the slide that way. Let us know if that works...
The audio file is OK outside of Articulate - there's nothing extra. It's happening on several slides.

Hi Lisa!
Did the steps found in this troubleshooter help resolve your issue? Thanks!
Thanks for checking-in Peter. I think we've identified the problem - I think it was something with the formatting fo the audio files.
Thanks for the update
