Problems with Publishing Scorm File in Articulate

Hi there,
I am having some issues using the articulate software. I have used Artciulate countless times to make courses into scorm files but it is not till right now that I have been facing problems. Everytime I go to publish a scorn in the 2004 format everything looks like it is working but when I save the zip file it says it is a zi030756 file (see attached). This has happened to me before but I usually just restart my computer and then it will work fine. I have tried that and nothing is working right now.
I am just wondering if you have any ideas how to produce 2004 scorm files again because the articulate we had just purchased a few months ago does not do it anymore?
Thanks,
Greg

Hi Greg
this often happens if the length of the file location is longer that 256 characters, or if you are working of a shared drive. You can zip the file yourself by selecting all the files within the folder (this is important to ensure the manifest file is in the correct place) and right click send to zipped folder

Hi Phil.
Thanks for the insight. How do you find out if the file location is longer 256 characters? When I try to open this Zi file type it will not let me and I have nothing to open it. how do I zip the powerpoint verison I want? I tried zipping the zi file but it did nothing. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Greg
If you right click the zia file it and choose properties you can see the length of the filename. You can normally get round this by zipping to your desktop.
To zip your own scorm, after publish choose open folder the select all the files in that folder right click send to zipped folder

The problem I am finding is that I have published tons of scorm files and I used some old courses that I published before but it does the same thing. Every course I am publishing is doing this and I do not know why? Any ideas?
