We intent to host our e-learning course done using Articulate presenter on Amazon AWS (cloud front). The output files are .SWF and .FLV format. Is there a way we can protect out FLV video files to be downloaded from browser, please help..thanks,
they need to download to play, you could use a streaming service with protection. You need to have reasonable technical skill to extract the flv, not really worth worrying about
but articulate presenter file are support only download delivery method in cloud front and we are not able to publish this files using streaming method.
If you use a protected stream then this method would work, any person with a good technical knowledge who wanted your flv would be able to download it, I could have an educated guess where your files are and download them.
But, you need some technical knowledge and you watermark your video, I would not worry about it.
thats the best method above, you could always write a single player swf that reads the stream form an external xml based on the current slide number, but you need to insert a meedia player swf to use media streaming in studio
