Publish Turning Text Boxes Pink and Other Issues

Nov 19, 2018

Good morning,

To start, the initial issue was that whenever a PP was published, all of the text boxes would go from whatever color they originally were to magenta. If the file was sent to a neighboring computer, the text boxes would be fine. I have tried asking Articulate support, but as they have not been able to replicate the issue on their end using any of our presentations, there hasn't been a solution as of yet. I have uninstalled Articulate 360, reinstalled, uninstalled Office, reinstalled, uninstalled Office 365 and replaced with Office 2013, and now the buttons are not even responding within PP to attempt to publish again. I ran diagnostics and came back green across the board. There are no issues with the presentations, as they can be published without any issue on other computers, but this computer and one other both turn the text boxes pink for no discernible reason.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

Thanks in advance.

I'm so sorry you're hitting those snags, Rosanna. We can help you get back up and running!

I see you were already knee-deep into troubleshooting the magenta text box issue with my teammate, Angelo – thanks for giving the simple repair steps as well as the Unexpected or Erratic Behavior ones a try! I shared this discussion with Angelo so we can look into some other approaches. Look out for a follow-up email from him shortly with those next steps!

Additionally, do you notice any trends with the two troublesome computers? E.g. Their Operating System, the drive projects are getting saved on?
