Publish Scorm with Articulate Studio

Dear eLearning Heroes,

I have a problem publishing a presentation in a SCORM file. I was under the assumption, that publishing by clicking on LMS already produces the SCORM file as it is indicated in the very first line where you can pick and choose from SCORM 1.2 Scorm 2004 and different editions as well as AICC etc... My IT department says, that the produced outcome are not SCORM files, as they should have the file ending SCORM (I know they are in the folder lms, but they keep telling me these are not SCORM files and I need a confirmation that they are wrong :-) ). Can anyone please confirm, that these are the files I need to upload in our Oracle Learning Management System?

For some reasons, I don't see the steps explained on this link. Anyone knows why?
