publishing Articulate presentation to a server

I've been by told by a colleague that one of my Articulate presentations that sits on our company server will not play properly without downloading it to his desktop.  This is puzzling to me because it plays perfectly for ME from the server, and all of the other Articulate presentations that I have uploaded to the server seem to play properly.  He talked to a tech person who thinks that the finished Articulate presentation needs to be "saved as an .exe file in order to work on a server."  This doesn't make sense to me, as I haven't had to do anything like this to my other projects.  The project in question is large- 90 slides, with quizzes and lengthy narration, and it does contain one brief video file that my other projects have not had.  Would either of these differences be causing the problem?    Any ideas on what might be going on?   Thanks!
