Publishing error and constant ppta files created

May 10, 2012

Hi -

Looking for any assistance/advice.  Experiencing publishing to an LMS output issues.   At this point I have reinstalled all of the studio 09 software, created a new version of the training from the existing slides by creating a new pptx and browsing and insterting all of the slides into the New PPTX.  No matter what I do everytime I access a quiz within the Presenter it creates a new PPTZ file.  Then when I publish the training it freezes up and never finishes, it gets to a certain slide and then just locks.  The intersting part is the slide is simply a module slide with very little voice and no animation.  It has also started creating several ppta files in places outside of the current folder that I have in all of the original files saved in.  At this point I can deal with reconnecting the correct PPTA file BUT I NEED IT TO PUBLISH TO THE LMS.

PLEASE HELP!

Sorry for the trouble, Mary. Can you send us the files so we can take a closer look at what might be going on? If so, please create an Articulate Presenter package, then upload the zip file to our server. You can review how to do this here:

Send to Articulate Presenter Package – Articulate Presenter ’09 Help

Upload the resulting zip file from your computer to our server using this upload form:

Please be sure to include a description of your issue, your version of PowerPoint, version of Windows and version of Presenter '09, which you can find in Help and Support -> About Articulate Presenter. Please also include the URL for this thread so I can follow up with you personally in the forums. And feel free to come back and leave your case number here so I can keep a close eye on it. Thanks!
