I followed the tutorial to publish my course for iPad but unchecked the download option for users to download to their libraries and it won't work. Does the app require you to download the content for offline use or can it work with an Internet connection without allowing users to download to their iPad?
If you need further assistance after reviewing the articles above, can you please tell me what you mean by 'it won't work'. Are you getting an error or perhaps just a blank screen (If there is media there, users may need to tap for instance)?
Just let me know what you learn and we will proceed from there.
I just figured out why it wouldn't work. It's on our development server which is password protected. The app isn't able to get through the security. Thanks for your reply.
Is it possible to adjust the mobile app code that gets downloaded to the iPad app library to verify via wifi or Internet connection whether or not the user is registered?
Or is it possible to set a timeframe for the content to no longer be available after a specific amount of time?
Hi Trent! Can you tell me some more about your setup? The Articulate Mobile Player does not function as an LMS. I'm not sure of what 'registration' you are checking. If you want the link that you are sharing with your end users to be invalid after a period of time, that would be handled elsewhere either from your server or LMS.

Hi Trent!
You do not have to allow users to download the content for offline viewing.
Publishing a Project for iPad or HTML5 will help you understand how to publish your course, then understanding how Presenter determines which version of your content to display when learners view it explains how it will be presented based on the environment.

Awesome! Glad that you were able to get that figured out and thanks for sharing your update
