Google Sites won't work because you can't upload a folder to a Google Site. You can publish content for any SCORM 1.2, 2004 or AICC compliant LMS. Here's how:
If you're comfortable working with iframes, you can embed your published presentation into Google Sites. You'll need another place to host your files since it doesn't appear you can upload folders of files to Google Sites.
So you could put your files into DropBox and call them into Google Sites.
I uploaded my Articulate file to Dropbox and made the Google site link. It worked fine but the Dropbox file URL became visible when Google opened the link. My question is how to prevent the directly Dropbox file access.
I want to post an Articulate tutorial on Google Sites. I'm not familiar with iFrame. Could you explain what an iFrame Gadget is, where I get it, and how I use it within my Google Sites page?
This is very helpful, thanks! Quick question though- once my Rise course is on my google site, will it save the user's progress? If they leave the course and come back, will it track previous completions? My course is in modules, so if they complete modules 1-2 and then take a break, will it restart them when they return to the googlesite?
We're hoping to eventually move towards an LMS but for now....
If web-based courses are your only option right now, I'd recommend leaving navigation set to free so that your learners will be able to jump to where they left off!

Can you provide some more details on how you posted your Articulate program into a Google Site.
I uploaded my Articulate file to DropBox but how do I call them into a Google Site?

Thanks,
Using the DropBox feature and an iFrame Gadget within Google sites, I was able to post my Articulate tutorials.

Here is a Google doc link I created to help me through the process of posting Articulate programs on my
Google Sites.

Thanks! I was able to get it to work following your instructions. I ended up using 500 pixels for the height, though.
Glad to hear it, Nancy! And thanks for the great link, Michael!
I put together a Christmas quiz to post on a Google Site and then on our Library interactive kiosk.
Something fun for the students to try out.
I would welcome any input.

You are welcome to it if you want.
great job Michael on the Google Sites procedure. I'm just testing that out and it works well.
Thanks,
By the way I fixed the Christmas Quiz for those who are interested. (I know it's early yet)

This didn't work for me. I never saw the player.html file. I'm desperate to post to Google sites. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Can someone do an updated tutorial on how to do this? The options described seem to have changed since this was first put out.
Thanks!
Hi all,
Is it possible to use Google docs instead of Dropbox?
Don
Hi Don,
Welcome to the community!
Have you seen the blog post by Mike about hosting content on Google Drive? Might be worth checking out:
How to Share Your E-learning Course for Free With Google Drive
Just thought that might be a good option for you :)
Best of luck and have a great day!
Thanks Christine...

Hi Carmen,
Thanks for reaching out! Rise courses that are web-only will always start over to the beginning. You can read more about this in the Rise 360 FAQs:
If web-based courses are your only option right now, I'd recommend leaving navigation set to free so that your learners will be able to jump to where they left off!
Thanks. Very helpful.
