I have just published my first Articulate 13 presentation. When I run the file, it automatically runs through the presentation. What I want is for the presentation to automatically launch when they insert the thumb drive, but after the first slide, I want the user to be able to advance at their own pace. Is there something I'm missing when I publish that would allow me to do this? Thanks for your assistance with this.
Welcome to heroes! Windows prevents apps from auto-running from a flash drive for security reasons. First, you will want to make sure to Publish for CD. Once you've put your course on the thumb drive, have the user double click the Launch_Presentation.exe to run the course .
Also, take a peak at the Changing How Slides Advance section of this Managing Slide Properties tutorial for how to set your slides to advance by user rather than automatically. :)
