I'm using Articulate Presenter '13. I have created a 10 question quiz for the course with a passing score of 100%. The course is recording a completion regardless of the passing score. I have the course set to track using the quiz. There is only 1 quiz in the course. I have published using completed/incomplete and republished using passed/failed. It doesn't seem to make a difference. A score fo 40% receives a completion. How do I correct this?
Hi Becky and welcome to E-Learning Heroes! You may need to check your reporting status. Many LMS systems track both a completion status and a success status. To report both statuses, choose either Passed/Incomplete or Passed/Failed when publishing and you can read more about that here.
I deleted the quiz from the course. Re-published using Passed/Failed and it still recorded a completion for the course when I scored 40% instead of the passing score of 100%. I read the page you linked to and it did not help. Any other suggestions?
Would you mind testing your course in SCORM Cloud to help us determine if the issue is Articulate related or if it's on your LMS's side? If it appears in SCORM Cloud as well, we'd be happy to take a closer look at what might be going on. If you can't replicate the issue in SCORM Cloud, it's probably an issue that you'd want to take to your LMS team.
