Quiz will not load
Nov 06, 2012
I read many posts that begin with this Subject Line and tried all those fixes, but so far nothing has worked.
I am updated a presentation that has previously worked.
I published this file this morning and it worked fine, made two small changes, and published over the previously published file now it does not work.
However, while publishing the file that second time, an "upgrade" of the Flash Player was somehow started and the system (the entire computer) locked up. I had to use the Windows Program Manager to close the Flash upgrade and Articulate/Powerpoint although I was able to restart the computer itself normally.
When I do a "Preview Next 5 Slides"beginning with the slide before the quiz, the Quiz loads and plays normally. The Quiz does not load at all when I publish the entire Presentation.
OTHER FACTORS -
The quiz is embedded in a presentation.
I am using Firefox, not Chrome.
I have shortened paths.
I have published to a path without a space.
I have downloaded and installed the latest update, which made no difference.
I have deleted all existing published file sets, so there would be no files to overwrite.
I created a new presentation, imported the slides from the presumably corrupted file into it, and relinked the Quiz to it.
I deleted the slide before the Quiz and republished. No help.
None of these things worked.
Other presentations in this series publish correctly and the quizzes imbedded in them play properly.
SO - I'm thinking that THIS presentation got corrupted in the crash. As you can see I've tried several things that I though might fix the problem, didn't.
I am stuck.
Any suggestions?

Hi Jeff,
I agree, it does sound like the file may be corrupted. Could you please upload your files and then open a support case with us? We'd be happy to take a look and see if we can assist in resolving this for you.
Thanks!
I am having this same issue. I created a presentation and insert the quiz into it. The preview worked perfectly, but the quiz did not load after publishing the entire presentation. It just sits there with the spinning wheel.
Were you able to help Jeff? If so what was the outcome?
Thanks!
Marianne
Hi Marianne. Welcome to E-Learning Heroes!
I was not able to find a case for Jeff, unfortunately. So, I'm not sure how his issue was resolved, or if it was resolved.
From what you mentioned, the first thing I would do is make sure you're not viewing the content locally after publishing. Some interactions and quizzes may not load properly if you view them locally after publishing.
