I'm still struggling with the random box issue. I haven't upgraded to 13 because I only have one client with few and small projects using Articulate. But it's starting to take far too much time to fight the boxes.
Is this issue solved in 13? I'd like to be sure of that before investing in the upgrade!!

First, can you please confirm that you are working locally? If you happen to be working from a network drive, you could run into Unexpected or Erratic Behavior as described here. You may want to run through the repair steps listed in #2, and if issues persist, please feel free to share your Presenter package and we will gladly take a closer look! :)
Thanks, Christie. Yes, I am working locally, and I've done the repair and re-booted my machine....multiple times! I seem to have the best luck if I re-boot and then re-publish immediately. Maybe one time out of 3 I get a clean file, but there are always tweaks needed so I have to re-publish and then there they are again. ;-(
I have downloaded a 30-day trial of 13 and it seems to take care of the problem. I've had this random box issue a lot in the past, so I may have to just bite the bullet and buy 13.
