re-publishing articulate presenter 13

I have finished a presentation using presenter 13. When I published it the first time, everything when well. I had to make some changes and tried re-publishing it. The changes are not saving.
I am "publishing to CD", on the hard drive, then saving it to a thumb drive to play on another computer. All of the files have todays date on them except the Launch_Presentation. It has a date several months ago.
Why can't I get the changes to save?
Getting very frustrated.
Thanks,

Hi Beth,
It sounds like it may be a file caching issue, and you'll want to check out this article for troubleshooting.
Nope, not a caching issue. I've tried it on several computers and still runs the old version. I published it to run on a kiosk.
I have IT coming to reinstall the program so I will see if that works.
I will be in touch if it doesn't fix the problem.
Thanks,
Thanks Beth - and please keep us posted.
IT was able to reinstall and it seems to be working great now.
Thanks!
Awesome, thanks for the update Beth!
I am having this same issue. I go in, make changes, publish and it's fine. Open it up again the next day and none of my changes are there from the previous day. This is very frustrating as I am under a tight deadline.
One more thing...I am working from my local drive.
Hi Elizabeth,
Are you seeing the changes not reflected in the published output or within the original file prior to publishing? If it's the latter, are you saving the file before you publish or even doing a save as to make a new version of it?
I didn't see Beth's files to know for certain, but it looks like things were updated for her by conducting the repair mentioned and linked above. Are you able to go through those steps?
Here are the steps I am taking when the issue occurs:
1. Open the PowerPoint
2. Make changes
3. Save
4. Publish (changes are there)
5. Save again (because I have OCD)
6. Close PowerPoint to go home for the day
7. Open the PowerPoint again the next day to make more changes (darn SMEs!)
8. AH! None of the changes I made the day before are there!
Hi Elizabeth,
Thanks for sharing those steps. You already mentioned you're working locally, but did you check into the other elements such as file name and file path as mentioned in this article?
