I'm a new user to Articulate Studio '13, and am recording audio for my presentation. For each slide, audio starts out soft and after 5-10 seconds, becomes louder by a random, sometimes large, amount. I have no idea why this might be happening. I'm using a Dell Desktop Precision T5510 and recording with a headset microphone by Logitech (H540). Someone here has suggested it may have to do with Windows Audio auto-gain.
I haven't seen this behavior in Presenter - and I'm not sure about the Windows audio element, did you see another thread referencing this? If you were unable to record audio at all, there are some Windows elements you could check into here.
First, I'd recommend checking to confirm that you're working locally as described here.
If this happens with every recording and file, you may want to look at repairing Presenter.
