I can getting the floating controls to work, but when I delete the ast_remote.asf as suggested, I am unable to play the presentation. It gets hung up in the loading stage. Please advise.
You should be able to accomplish this by going into the Articulate menu > Player Templates > Player Controls and unchecking the appropriate options (like forward/back/pause controller).

The tutorial that you're using is specific to Presenter 5.
I have already accomplished the "floating controls". I wanted to go to the next step and not have any controls at all. I am using Studio '09.

This doesn't seem to get rid of the controls either. I just want it to play like a movie with absolutely no controls at all.
Can you post a screenshot of your presentation so that I can get a better idea of what you're trying to accomplish?
