I'm a newbie so please bear with me. I had a couple of questions:
First, is there a way to remove the attachments button in the upper right corner of the presenter?
Second, I used the forum to find out how to remove the top Articulate logo but I've only found a way to replace the bottom Articulate logo with another logo. Is there a way to remove it and leave it blank?
To remove the attachments tab, go to Player Templates in the Articulate Ribbon and select the Layout Tab. Then under Toolbar Menu, deselect the Attachments tab checkbox.
To remove the Articulate logo, go to Player Templates in the Articulate Ribbon and select the Player Controls Tab. Then under Player Controls, deselect the Display powered-by logo checkbox.
It looks like I mis-spoke due to my newbieness. I knew about the "powered-by logo" option but I thought it removed the top "Articulate" logo. I guess I still need to remove the top one. I know I can replace it but how do I remove it?
Hi... Can anyone help me with removing the Attachments link from my presentation. Orginally my SME wanted attachements, then later decided not to include them. I have tried all the suggestions mentioned and even closed the presentation and restarted. No LUCK!! Any suggestions?
Sounds like it may be a caching issue with your older course. Caching issues that you may observe are not related to Articulate products, but rather to Flash, the Web browser, and / or the server on which the content is hosted.
To ensure that your users are seeing the latest version of your content, you can upload your content to a new directory on the hosting server. If you are using an LMS, you can create a new course or delete / recreate the existing course.
If the suggestion above isn't doing the trick, I'd recommend sending us your files so we can take a closer look. If you'd like to do that, please create an Articulate Presenter package, then upload the zip file to our server. You can review how to do this here:
Please be sure to include a description of your issue, your version of PowerPoint, version of Windows and version of Presenter '09, which you can find in Help and Support -> About Articulate Presenter. Please also include the URL for this thread so I can follow up with you personally in the forums. And feel free to come back and leave your case number here so I can keep a close eye on it. Thanks!
I am having the same issue wth the Attachments tab. The option is not selected in Player Templates/Toolbar Menu and I never defined or added any attachments to my package but still the tab is displayed. I tried the suggestion above, but no luck. I was wondering if, as a result of the post in February, there was a resolution identified. Thanks!
I'm not showing any records of the February case, so if you'd like to submit your own ticket, please feel free to do so. Our support team will be happy to assist you. Thanks!
Yeah, same here... I notice that I had to save the template to, say, ABC. BUT this template (ABC) isn't selected - it keeps going back to the Corporate one :(

You simply need to remove the logo from your player template. See:

For even more fun, you can replace the lower left hand logo with your own custom one:

Is that helpful?
We are having the same issue with the attachments tab.
we have deselected the check box from the player template menu
and physically removed the attachments from the program.
we publish and the attachments tab (and the actual attachments file) are still there.
