Many of my courses include PDF documents as resources/references. When I send my presentation to a package, it gets of the quizzes and interactions but not the PDFs. Is there a way to tell Articulate to also nab those file or do I have to put them in the package zip manually?
I assume that when the package is opened, I will have to relink the PDFs via the Player tab.
You're using Studio '13, correct? I believe I recall that from an earlier thread.
The package should include the resource files as well. If you haven't already, please make sure you're following the steps outlined in the following tutorial:
It may also help to check the file location and file names of your projects, as well as the PDF or other resource files you're using. If you have them on a network drive, for example, that could cause some trouble.
Work on your local drive (your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, including file corruption, loss of audio, and other unexpected behavior.
You should also make sure the directory path to your project files and your published output is less than 260 characters (for example C:\Articulate).
Avoid using special characters, accents or symbols in your file names (this includes spaces and underscores).

Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!
Christine,
I am using 2013 and followed the instructions. Here are the files I am working with.
When I Send to Package, here's what's in the Zip created:
I am working from directories on the hard drive of my PC; no network issues.
Any other ideas about what might be going on? Thanks for your help.
Tim
Hi Tim,
Thanks for getting back to me and checking that out, as well.
Seems very odd, indeed. If you create a new, blank presentation, does the same thing happen - or does it seem to be specific to this project?
If it's specific to the file, are you able to try attaching different PDF files to see if that makes a difference?
If it happens with a new project, it may be an issue with the installation. If that's the case, please try repairing Studio '13:

If you're still experiencing these issues, please try the following troubleshooting steps:

Hopefully that'll do the trick. If not, please let me know.
Thank you, Tim!
