Resources link in slide

Dec 15, 2013

I have a workbook that I linked in my slide presentation using "Resources" link in the slide. I did the following:  I clicked on "Player" and went to "Properties" and clicked on "Resources." I successfully uploaded the workbook (word doc) while in the player window and the title and resource appears in the window indicating a successful upload. I tested it after publishing the module and it was saved to my desktop and it worked fine.

After I published the module, I clicked on the "Resources" link and a dropdown appears. The dropdown area is "blank" with no border, nothing. The only thing that appears in the dropdown area (window) is a word doc icon and it is blank to the right of the icon where you would expect to see the title of the download. If you "hover" over where the title "should be" it will show up. Hover away from it and the title disappears. All you see is the word doc icon. The title is "there" but invisible. Does anyone know how to make the title appear? This occurred after I published it, not during preview, although the same "appearance" issue occurs in preview mode as well.

Regards, Bill

Hi there Bill,

Just curious - how are you viewing the published project? Try to make sure, if possible, that you're not viewing the published project locally.

If you view a published Studio '13 or '09 presentation on your local hard drive or send it to someone else to view on their local hard drive, you'll encounter security restrictions from the computer, web browser, Flash Player, and network that'll cause various features of your content to fail.

To properly test your published content and share it with others, upload it to the environment for which it was published. Please review the article below for more information:
