I was working on a presentation when powerpoint suddnly closed. Thepowerpoint file is no longer in the folder it was saved in and I cannot find it anywhere on my computer but the .ppta file is still there and I have a recently published version of the powerpoint. Is there anyway to restore the .ppt file from either of those?

you cannot restore from the pita, there should be no reason why it would move or delete itself do you have a backup?
