Restricted navigation doesn't wait for webobjects
Dec 09, 2015
If you use webobject to insert a video (from youtube let's say) and use restricted animation, the presenter '13 player seems to have no knowledge of the length of the video or the completion of the video and so it unlocks the screen before the video has completed. Other than doing some funky hidden animation tricks is there any other techniques that can be used to not allow a student to proceed until a video has either played or at least the student was forced to sit waiting for the full time?
If you can't think of anything other than animation tricks, please suggest any that you have used. The problem that I am seeing is that PPT animations are limited in length. You can't just set a completion icon (check mark or something) to show up after mm:ss amount of time. So if there is an 18:21 video, I need to use a myriad of animations to equal that amount of time.
Would love a timer that displays on the page that I could set to countdown the time until the video is theoretically done. Anyway seen something like that?
