Resume course and trouble with navigation
Sep 25, 2012
Hello Articulaters,
Has anyone ever had trouble with their 'resume course' feature?
Typically we don't have any problems if the user clicks No when asked if she wants to resume where left off. If the user say Yes, however, it seems like sometime the navigation outline is messed up. And sometimes the user is then allowed to browse to slides they shouldn't yet have access to. Even worse, I'm suspicious that SCORM data is not passed correctly if the resume feature is not executed properly within the LMS.
I do not want to get rid of the Resume Course feature, but would love to get this resolved. Any ideas?
Jonathan

Hi Jonathan,
Would you mind submitting a case to our support team, along with your project files and as much information as possible regarding your LMS and the steps that lead up to the issue, and we'll be happy to take a closer look at what's going on. Please create an Articulate Presenter package, then upload the zip file to our server. You can review how to do this here:

Thanks!
Thank you Peter, I have created a case.
We use Desire2Learn as our LMS. Are there many others out there who have experience using Articulate with Desire2Learn? I'm very curious to whether we'd have the some problems with a different LMS ...
Hi Jonathan,
If you'd like to test your course in another LMS, you can run it through SCORM Cloud to see if you get the same results. That will tell you whether the issue is on the LMS or software side of things.
Yes, I just set myself up on the SCORM Cloud. What a great tool. Thank you Peter! I really appreciate all of your help.
