Are you not wanting to have the resume feature enabled at all, or do you want the course to resume but not provide the prompt?
You can specify whether the prompt to resume on presentation restart should be enabled on a template-by-template basis.
To enable or disable the resume option in Articulate Presenter '09, do the following:
Go to Articulate > Player Templates > Player Controls.
Check or uncheck the box to Prompt to resume on presentation restart.
Optionally, you can also check the box When running in LMS, ignore Flash cookie. If selected, your presentation will rely on the LMS to resume properly. If you're unsure, leave this box checked.
Click Close to save your changes. If prompted, assign a name to your player template.
With our LMS we require "re-taking" an presentation/course periodically. Is there a way to NOT resume the course if, say, more than 30 days have past? Or is this a function of the LMS?
There isn't a away to do this in the course itself, no. I have seen the question come up in the past and I believe the popular response was to set this up with the LMS. However, keep in mind that not LMS services are the same, so it would depend on whether or not that type of feature is available.
If you haven't already, you may want to contact the LMS you're working with and see if they'd be able to set something up for you. If you are able to get this running and you have the time to share the information about the LMS you're using, I'm sure many others would appreciate the details.
You're using Presenter as well, correct? In Presenter there isn't currently a way to resume the course without prompting.
If you're using Storyline, however, you can select the option to "Always Resume". This will resume the course on each attempt, without prompting the user.

Hi there Ines,
I'm afraid I won't be able to help you with the ActionScript, that's pretty far outside my expertise :)
You may want to start a new thread with this question in the title, so our community experts can give you some advice.
Thanks and good luck with the project!
Christine
