Running Studio 13 output on a Mac - no browsers work - help

Jan 17, 2017

Hi - am trying to run the output of Studio 13 (quiz, presenter, engage, videos) on my Mac - have tried Safari, Chrome & Firefox - doesn't work. Just get the rotating sun dial thingy.

Help?

Hi there Gordon!

How are you viewing the published output? You'll want to be sure you have uploaded it to the environment for which it was published and view the content with a supported browser. You'll also want to double check that the content was created and published from your local hard drive.

If you've tried uploading it either to a web server or LMS for testing and you're still seeing this behavior, I would recommend sending your Articulate Package to our support engineers via this form, and they'll help you investigate further! And please feel free to share your case number here so I can follow along, as well. :)

Also to your second comment, we currently don't have a native Mac version of Articulate Storyline or Studio, but it can be installed on a Mac with Parallels Desktop, VMware Fusion, or Apple Boot Camp. However, you can certainly view published output on a Mac using a supported browser: Studio '13 Supported Mac Browsers.

We will be sure to let everyone know if we have any news on developments for native Mac versions, so always keep your ear out!
