Saving an emailed presentation to CD?

Aug 08, 2014

Can a presentation that has been emailed, be saved to desktop, and then copied to a CD - without any problems?

I've just done that, but want to be sure there won't be any corruption of the files that is hard to detect.

Thanks,

Tami

Good Afternoon, Tami.

Three considerations for you:

  1. Be sure to unzip the zipped, published output before burning it to CD. Zipped output will not play from CD.
  2. When you publish a project for CD, Presenter includes autorun.inf and Launch_Presentation.exe files in the published output folder that streamline the process of launching the course from CD. Publishing via any method other than CD will not include these files.
  3. When you do burn the unzipped output to CD, the folder structure needs to be organized in such a way that the autorun.inf, Launch_Presentation.exe, and presentation.html files all reside on the root folder of the CD.

Good luck with your project!
