I've published to CD (selected "search" in the player options and there is a menu) and the search field is there but when I enter any search term (including literally a menu item), nothing happens.
Search: Mark this box to include a search field on the Menu tab of your player. Learners can use this to search for text within slide contents or slide notes. Keep in mind that because the Search field is part of the Menu tab, it'll only appear in your published course if you've marked Menu in the Player Tabs area at the top of the window. - From our tutorial on Player Features
Is your search feature finding contents that exist in your slide contents or slide notes?
The search field is checked on the menu tab and Menu is checked under Player Tabs. Once published, the search does nothing. I enter a search term, press "enter" on my keyboard and nothing happens (it doesn't seem to even attempt a search, regardless of what search term I put in). Here's a screen shot of the player settings.

Hi Jean!
I have attached an image of what my presentation does when I search a term. You can see that it indicates what slide it is on in the menu.
If you are not seeing similar behavior, please package your course and submit it so that we can have a look.
