How do I set a default path for Studio 9?

Welcome to E-:Learning Heroes, Steven!

As far as I know, you cannot change the default path created by Presenter.

However, this doesn't mean that you must save, or publish to this specific folder. When you first save a presentation, you'll be prompted to enter a project name and file destination. When you see this prompt, you can choose whatever path you'd like for the file.

If you've already saved the file to the default location, but you'd like to save it somewhere else, you can click on the Articulate menu and choose "Save As". You'll be able to save the presentation to another location if you'd like.

If you'd like to change the location of your published files, you can do this in the publishing window.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Thanks!

Thank for your response.  However, your response brings me to my second issue.  When I move my working folder to a new location on my c: drive Articulate looses all the wuiz and engage enteraction file locations.  Why is this? And then when I click on one of my quizes or engage interactions Articulate haas their standard dialog box "Unable to locate".  This is where I would like to set the path.  By default it goes to My Articulate Projects.  I want to change this default path.  Any ideas?

Hi Steven,

There's actually a pretty handy blog post on this topic that you might want to check out. It explains why some of the "links" to files break if you change the save location.

Take a look:

Word of Mouth Blog - Directory Structure

Be sure you check out the comments as well, looks like a few community members had some similar problems and they were able to get it worked out using the responses.
