When changing the Resume options in the player template settings, and re-publishing the content under LMS (Scorm 2004), the updates don't reflect in the data\playerproperties.xml .
For example, if I uncheck Resume completely (which inherently disables flash cookie option), republish, the following tags remain true:
UseSharedObj
UseSuspendData
If I enable resume, and disable/enable "ignore flash cookie", same result, both tags are still true.
I am publishing to new directories each time with different project names to avoid any conflicts however same result.

I was editing the template in "PLayer Templates'.
However, I was unaware that it created an Instance of the template in the project and these settings needed be changed there on the Publish screen.
