Side Navigation screwed up

Hello,

I set up all my slide properties so that they had 'levels'.  When I published the presentation, everything came out fine except for the navigation bar on the side - most of the slides are missing.  However, when I change to the 'slide' navigation view on the sidebar, all of the slides show.

I feel that this may be because I have a few hidden slides (quizmaker slides that I don't want them to navigate to).  I think that may be screwing up anything after the hidden slide.  After the hidden slide, the next slide is set to level 2.

If this is the problem, then is there any way to solve this? I'd like the quiz slides hidden and for the navigation to be correct.
