I've seen this issue before but a solution wasn't offered. A student is trying to view a presentation using an Apple Mac (created in articulate presenter) and the slide content is not showing.
The image shows the slide as paused purely as he wanted to take a picture.
Is the student viewing the presentation within an LMS? Do you know if the presentation was publishing using Flash or HTML5? Do you know what browser the student is using? We'll want to make sure they are using a supported browser.
Thanks for that information, Sonya. So, is this happening only for one student, or multiple? Have you been able to reproduce this behavior on your end? You may want to look at testing it in another environment such as SCORM Cloud which is an industry standard for LMS testing. You can review the directions here to help you go through that testing.
Hi, this is the first time it's happened. The student said on his old MAC it worked fine, it seems to be his new IMAC that is causing the problems. The presentations are working fine for me. Do you know what needs to be enabled, or available on his computer for this presentation to run? I could do with a check list of some kind. THanks
Hi Sonya, as long as the student is using Safari 3 or later along with Adobe Flash Player 10.3 or later, there shouldn't be any issue. If you have checked that both Safari and Flash player are up to date, then I would suggest reaching out to our Support Engineers directly over here so they can investigate with you to get to the bottom of this as quickly as possible.
