Slide menus that react to user interface

I am working on an e learning course in Articulate Studio 13 using PPT 2007. This course has a menu built on the first slide of the deck. I created buttons with links out to the various portions of the slide deck and buttons to return to the menu, but I can't show the selected button as grayed out once the user returns to the menu to indicate they have completed that particular content. Has anyone done this in Articulate Studio 13? Can you give me any advise on how I might be able to do this action.

Hi Trish!
Presenter '13 does not work like Storyline with States and Triggers, so there is not a built-in way to do this.
Perhaps there are others in the community that have some suggestions on how you can simulate this effect.
Thank you. Since I don't have access to Storyline via my company, this will have to be one option the SME won't be able to use in the course design. I appreciate your time in answering my question.
