I am running into a small issue with a HUGE course that I am working on , so all this republishing really takes time.
The problem is that when I view the published course, one of my slides isn't showing up in the navigation. I have many hidden slides in the presentation, which aren't the problem... For some reason, the hyperlinks I have to that slide will work fine, but when I try to find it in the nav, it's gone.
I moved the slide to a different location, so the slide above wouldn't be a hidden slide. It's publishing now and I will post back my results, and/or screenshots if it doesn't work.
It's weird because all my other slides have the same characteristics as this one that isn't working, so that's why I posted here.
I am having a similar issue. I have many slides that I need to keep "hidden" in the navigation bar that are on the same level (2). When published, some of the slides are visisble in the navigation menu after a hidden slide, but then later on, some are not. Here is a screenshot of some that are not...
Slide 54 is not showing up in the navigation menu. Any help would be appreciated.
Can you try un-hiding slides 50 through 53 & setting their level to 3? Then, re-hide them & set slide 54 back to level 2. Be sure to completely publish your presentation to see the changes instead of just previewing them.

I was able to fix it. I unhid all the slides below the "blank levels", saved it, then went back in, unhid, and saved again. I hate to use the "g" word to discribe this, but at least it can be fixed.

Re-creating the slide would be my first action.
Does it show up if you move it to another location in the presentation?
Does a working slide moved that location exhibit the same behavior?

Thanks for the ideas.
Yep! That worked... I moved the hidden slide underneath the slide I wanted to show.
Thanks!

Ok we are getting close. I tried what you suggestion Brian, and it brought back the headings, but now there are blank levels associated with them...

I recreated the slides and change the advance setting. My presentation now works smoothly. Thanks
